The Emergency Medical Responder Class (EMR)

This Emergency Medical Responder EMR course will teach you to become an entry-level medical professional who prepares patients for industrial, pre-hospital, first-responder settings. PHSA’s EMR program will provide students with the necessary hands-on skills and knowledge they need to deal with medical and trauma-related emergencies until emergency medical technicians or paramedics arrive on the scene.

Upon course completion, graduates will be eligible for continuing education towards national certification as emergency medical responders through the National Registry of EMTs. Emergency Medical Responder Class Applicant Requirements:
